At Ballyduff N.S., we are fortunate to have a highly committed, dedicated and caring staff who work together to provide a happy, safe and nurturing learning environment for every child. We are committed to continually developing our practice and embracing new approaches so that our pupils receive a high-quality education that enables them to thrive.
While academic achievement remains central to our work, we believe equally in nurturing the whole child and helping each pupil develop their individual strengths and potential. At Ballyduff N.S., we take a holistic approach, nurturing the whole child and supporting each pupil to discover and develop their individual talents, interests and strengths. We strive to help every child reach their full potential, develop confidence and resilience, and grow into happy, caring and responsible young people who are well prepared for life beyond the classroom.
Our school community places great importance on the values of kindness, honesty, respect, inclusivity, hard work and a strong Christian ethos. We encourage our children to value themselves and others, to celebrate difference and to contribute positively to our school and wider community.
We recognise that children achieve their best when home and school work together in partnership. We greatly value the support, encouragement and involvement of our parents and guardians and recognise the important role they play as the primary educators of their children.
