Moving from primary to secondary school can be a big challenge for children and parents alike.
Earlier this year, Folens launched a practical guide for parents to help support their children with this transition, authored by experienced counsellor and teacher Graham Richmond.
This booklet includes advice on several different topics including the practicalities of adapting to a new timetable, screentime etc.
Speaking about the booklet, Graham Richmond commented:
“As an experienced teacher and counsellor I see the challenges many children face each year with the move to secondary school. This year following on from the disruption of school closures, I expect that children will need more support than ever. While we wait and see how schools will reopen in September I hope the advice and tips in this booklet will make the transition a little bit easier for your children.”
