On Wednesday, June 23rd, our esteemed colleague and friend Anne McCarthy SNA (sister of School Principal Marie Lucid and mother of Supply Teacher Stephanie McCarthy), passed away.
We wish to acknowledge the valuable contribution that Anne made to education over her many years in Ballyduff N.S. and the influence she had on the pupils in her care. She was an excellent SNA who touched the lives of so many pupils over her career.
She had a very kind and caring nature and was held in the highest esteem by pupils, parents, and colleagues alike. Anne is well remembered for her devotion to the children she worked with, her joyful laugh, and her positive attitude.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
