Ms O’Connor’s Class had the pleasure of working with Ecologist Niamh Ní Dhuill and Ballyduff Tidy Towns on May 16th, as part of National Biodiversity Week.
It was a very enjoyable and educational experience. They walked around the school grounds and the community garden in the Priest’s Meadow. They helped find and identify a variety of plants.
This incorporated the Outdoor and Adventure Activities strand of the PE curriculum and the Living Things strand of the Science curriculum.
