Carol Singing in Fatima Nursing Home

On Wednesday, December 11th a choir and music group from Ballyduff National School travelled to Our Lady of Fatima Nursing Home in Tralee to sing Christmas carols and to play a selection of Christmas tunes for the residents. The children sang a range of traditional hymns and also some other popular Christmas favourites. There were concertinas, tin whistles, bongos, a guitar and an accordion to play some festive classics.

It was a wonderful experience for all involved and the children were very well received by the residents who were singing and clapping along.

The group was accompanied by Mrs. Sheila Egan, Ms. Olivia Buckley, Ms. Siobhán O’Connor and Pat Lucid.

Ballyduff National School wishes to thank the staff of Our Lady of Fatima Nursing Home sincerely for their warm welcome and hospitality.
