On Friday, an Active Easter Egg hunt was organised for our pupils. The trail consisted of 9 stops. At each stop, the children found an easter egg containing a clue to direct them towards the next egg and an activity to be completed. Examples of these activities included jogging two laps on the basketball court, crazy dancing for 30 seconds and doing 20 starjumps. At the end of the trail each class found a basket of Easter treats for the class to share.
The playground leaders from 6th class, took turns to help set-up and lead the trails for the younger classes. They did a fantastic job and showed great responsibility and leadership!
Not only was there a basket of treats for each group but the Healthy Eating Committee and 6th Class made delicious healthy smoothies for everyone. This was to celebrate the huge success of our ‘try and taste’ food trial.
We had some eggstraordinary fun!!
Lots of beautiful Easter art was completed and brought home in time for the holidays.
A big thank you to our wonderful Parents Association who gave an Easter egg to each pupil on Friday, as part of our Easter celebrations.
