Kathleen Mills Cup visits Ballyduff N.S.

There was great excitement on Thursday the 12th of September when the Kathleen Mills Cup visited our school. The Kerry Camogie team made history when they won the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Championship Final in Croke Park on Sunday, September 8th.

The boys and girls from our school greeted some of the players as they visited our school with a loud cheer. We were lucky to have Liz Houlihan a former pupil of our school, who has nieces and a nephew in our school, Patrice Diggin and Laura Collins visit.

The players spoke about their historic win and the importance of physical activity in our lives and are great ambassadors for the promotion of a healthy active lifestyle.

Comhghairdeas libh !
