The death has occurred of Mrs. Sheila Hennessy, retired teacher who taught in Ballyduff School for the majority of her teaching career.
She was Vice-Principal of the girls’ school and continued on in that role when the boys and girls school amalgamated.
We wish to acknowledge the valuable contribution that Sheila made to education over her many years in Ballyduff N.S. and the influence she had on the pupils she taught. She was an excellent teacher who touched the lives of so many pupils over her long teaching career. She had a very gentle and caring nature and was held in the highest esteem by pupils, parents and colleagues alike.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
