Halloween Countdown begins!!!
Rang 1& 2 went to fantastic efforts on Thursday when they arrived to school dressed in their spooky costumes including ghosts, monsters, witches, zombies and many more..
They had a fun filled day and played many traditional cooperative halloween games in the school hall including: Pin the tail on the donkey, Blind man’s buff, Halloween musical chairs and Pin the carrot on the scarecrow.
They also performed some Irish Halloween songs they learnt this week, ‘Oíche Shamhna’ and ‘An Chailleach’.
They finished off the afternoon with some treats and helped display their halloween drawings of the haunted house and the scary monster.
