As part of the Science Week 2020 celebrations, Rang 4 have been exploring the states of matter, with particular emphasis on solids melting to liquids and returning to solids due to changes in temperature. There explored this concept by making ‘Rice Krispie’ buns.
Rang 4 have been working on instructional and procedural writing recently in their English classes. They used these skills to write recipes and sequenced steps for making ‘Rice Krispie’ buns.
A lot was learned through this experiment and of course, they enjoyed their tasty treats as well!
