World Book Day 2020 was celebrated in our school on Thursday, April 23rd.
Children from the Infant classes dressed up as book characters and then graced the school catwalk to a huge audience of school pupils, staff and parents. It was a wonderful morning. We had princesses, fairies, ninjas, cats, and superheroes entertaining us on the day. Spiderman came to call as did Bart Simpson, Willy Wanka, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Mary Poppins! There were astronauts, witches, skeletons, and pirates on the catwalk also. Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Little Red Riding Hood all were represented on the day.
Well done to all involved!
All children in the school received a book published especially for World Book Day 2020, to further foster their love of reading.
