There was music in the air in Ballyduff NS today, as Zumba instructor Pádraig O’Mahony put the children through their paces. All classes in the school are participating in a six week programme with Pádraig. Zumba, which falls under the dance strand of the PE curriculum, promotes physical activity as part of our Active Schools programme and fosters wellbeing. The children really enjoyed their first session and are looking forward to the next five weeks. Zumba was kindly funded by the Parents Association.
