Our Communion Class of 2020 celebrated their First Holy Communion in St. Peter and Paul’s Church Ballyduff on Saturday, September 12th, albeit four months later than expected!
It was a very busy week as they also received the sacrament of First Penance on Wednesday.
All the boys and girls were excellent and all carried out their roles, be it singing, bringing up gifts, or reading wonderfully. All at Ballyduff N.S. would like to congratulate you on this huge achievement and say that we are very proud of the Communion Class of 2020!
On Monday, the boys and girls wore their dresses and suits to school and showcased them for the other classes. They each recalled a special memory from their Communion day and shared this memory with the school. Afterwards, the children enjoyed a well deserved treat – a pizza party!
