On Thursday, June 20th Ballyduff National School had the privilege of a visit from Kerry Rose Sally-Ann Leahy. It is a great honour for the parish of Ballyduff and Causeway to have a local girl representing Kerry in the Rose of Tralee International Festival in August 2019. Sally Ann was greeted by two pupils of Ballyduff National School who have had the opportunity to have been rosebuds at the Rose of Tralee contest in the past; Sophia Burns and Keeley McCabe.
Sally Ann officially opened the active walkway in the school during her visit as part of our Active school week. We wish her the very best of luck during her time as Kerry Rose. Go n-éirí an t-adh leat Sally Ann!
