As part of Science Week in 4th class we discussed Acids and Bases.
Vinegar is an acid and Bread Soda is a base, when both are placed in a sealed zip lock bag and shaken, the reaction causes carbon dioxide gas to be created and this, in turn, causes the bag to expand and burst.
We also continued our States of Matter discussion which *snowballed* into a conversation about snowflakes and how similar to fingerprints “no two are the same”, inspired by this, we created our own snowflakes for our first winter display.
